How to?
Connect them to a USB power source using the provided USB-A to USB-C cable. When you see the LED flash green 4 times, charging has started,
While charging:
>Firmware 3.0.18_test: The LED will flash green until your nightbuds are fully charged.
>Newer versions of firmware (not 3.0.18_test): After the LED has flashed 4 times at the beginning of charging, the LED will no longer show. To check the charging status, press the o button. A flashing green LED indicates your nightbuds are still charging. A solid green LED indicates your nightbuds are now fully charged.
When fully charged:
>Firmware 3.0.18_test: The LED will go solid green (Firmware update will be available in the Kokoon app as of 8/11/2021)
>Newer versions of firmware (not 3.0.18_test): The LED will pulse solid green once when pressing the o or when the USB power source is disconnected.
Also note: Nightbuds cannot be used or powered-on whilst plugged into a power source.
How long for?
You can start using your Nightbuds after just 5 mins of charging, but we recommend charging for at least 60 mins before a full night’s sleep.
You can check the battery level of your Nightbuds at any time from within the Kokoon app.
Troubleshooting
Please note that the Nightbuds will not charge from certain laptop USB ports. If you find your Nightbuds are not charging from your laptop USB port please try a different port or a wall adapter type USB charging port.
Blue LED when charging: if a blue LED appears when charging this means that there has been some interruption to the charging process. We find this issue often occurs if using 'Fast Charging' type phone chargers (as they are not always fully USB charging compliant). Please use an alternative charging port if this issue arises.
