Step 1 - Find a non-affected phone
Find a phone (typically an old phone or phone of friend or family member you can borrow for 10-20 minutes).
Make sure the phone is not also one of the affected phones on the list below. An iPhone will work too.
Step 2 - Login to Kokoon app on the phone
Download the Kokoon app onto the phone and login to your account.
The app versions needs to be 3.5.x and later from either App Store and Google Play store.
Step 3 - Connect the headphones
Put the headphones into pairing mode (when the headphones are off, do a long press on (o) until light goes from white to flashing blue), then go to Bluetooth settings of the phone and and pair the headphones. The headphones are now connected to the new phone
Step 4 - Do the firmware update
Go to the Kokoon app and then go to Profile menu. Once the app has found the headphones there should be an option to update the device firmware. Select this option and complete the update. The phone and device should be left alone during the firmware update process. It should take 10 - 20 minutes to complete.
Step 5 - We're done - go back to your affected phone
The headphones should now work with your affected phone. You can logout / uninstall the Kokoon app from the phone you used to do the update with.
